The synth is a simple subtractive synthesizer with a single oscillator, a lowpass or highpass filter, an amplifier envelope, and a filter envelope. You can use it to create a wide range of sounds, from basses to leads to pads using sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square waves.

BrowserDAW is a web application that lets you make music online for free. It's a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that runs in your browser that you can use to play MIDI tracks, create melodies and beats and load Ableton Live sets.
BrowserDAW supports loading Ableton Live sets (.als). You can play the MIDI tracks in your set using the built-in synths.

Yes. Click the 'Save' button in the top menu and you'll get a unique link with the current state of your track that you can share with others.
VSTs are only available in desktop applications, not in the browser (yet).
